Conception of PregTASTIC®

PregTASTIC was conceived by my husband, Royce, and I while we were expecting our second child. Through two pregnancies, I realized I could easily find tons of worse case scenario information online about my pregnancy. While I was worrying my pregnant self by surfing the web, Royce was growing his media business and had the desire to learn the technology of podcasting. It was then that we combined our ideas and created PregTASTIC.

Birth of PregTASTIC

Certainly there are worrisome and downright uncomfortable things that happen during pregnancy but through PregTASTIC we aim to celebrate pregnancy and revel in the journey, making light of some of the unique happenings while also addressing some of the more uncomfortable aspects within a small group setting. Through our chats, birth stories and roundtable interviews with guests, we hope to provide information that makes women comfortable with their changing bodies, confident and flexible with the unexpected and empowered to make choices that fit their lifestyles.

Parents of PregTASTIC

Patti and Royce live in San Diego, California and have two toddlers, Ty and Brooke. Patti’s professional background is in education and she’s taught in the lower grades for 12 years. After her teaching adventures in Lima, Peru; Southern California and with the Peace Corps in Antigua, she’s now transferred her wanderlust energies into chasing two toddlers around San Diego and producing PregTASTIC.

Royce started Hildreth Media Group in 2001 after working in the media business for 10 years. He’s an old car enthusiast who loves cruising around in his ‘64 Chevy Corvair, or the mistress “Cory Vair” as Patti called it while he spent hours on end rebuilding it. He spends most of his free time producing PregTASTIC and chasing Ty and Brooke around San Diego with Patti.
