About PregTASTIC

Conception of PregTASTIC®

PregTASTIC was conceived by Royce and Patti Hildreth while expecting their second child. Through two pregnancies, Patti realized she could easily find tons of worse case scenario information online about her pregnancy. Meanwhile, Royce was growing his media business and had the desire to learn the technology of podcasting. It was then that they combined their ideas and created PregTASTIC.

Birth of PregTASTIC

Certainly there are worrisome and downright uncomfortable things that happen during pregnancy, but through PregTASTIC Royce and Patti aimed to celebrate pregnancy and revel in the journey; making light of some of the unique happenings while also addressing some of the more uncomfortable aspects within a small group setting. Through chats, birth stories and roundtable interviews with guests, they hoped to provide information that makes women comfortable with their changing bodies, confident and flexible with the unexpected and empowered to make choices that fit their lifestyles.

The success of PregTASTIC

Over the years, PregTASTIC has become one of the most trusted sources for pregnancy-related information on the web. Even after five years, the show’s audience continues to grow and is routinely listened to by expecting women all over the world! In February 2010, Sunny Gault, a former television news anchor and reporter, joined the PregTASTIC panel to share the joy of her first pregnancy. It didn’t take long for Sunny to become the show’s host and producer, responsible for scheduling guests and topics, and guiding each show’s conversations.

In 2012, Sunny will have some big shoes to fill when she takes over for Royce and Patti as owner of PregTASTIC. In addition to PregTASTIC, Sunny’s company, New Mommy Media, LLC, will produce two new online radio shows focused on parenting.
