“I swear this pregnancy has made me eat like a child again. I have lived off of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, macaroni and cheese, and now it’s pop tarts!”

What are you most excited about? I am really excited to be a mom. I was a nanny all through college and I absolutely love being around children. I cannot wait to see what the baby looks like and which of our behaviors they will model. I am also looking forward to watching my husband become a dad. He is going to be a great father.

How is your energy level compared to “normal”? For the first couple of months all I could do is work and lay on the couch, now that I am in my 2nd trimester I have really gotten more active.

What clothes are you finding most comfy? I am finally fitting into maternity clothes! I took up until 18 weeks to be really comfortable in anything, even sweats. But now that I actually have clothes that are cute and not frumpy, I am much more excited about my changing shape.

What type of food are you craving or have aversion to; does the smell of pickles make you smile or gag? Pop Tarts! I swear this pregnancy has made me eat like a child again. I have lived off of Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwiches, Macaroni and Cheese, and now it’s Pop Tarts (the strawberry kind with icing!).

What color will you paint the nursery? It is currently painted with white walls and a bright yellow ceiling. I imagine that will stay the same, but other bright colors will be added. I’m not one for the pastel blue or pink.

What is something silly, verging on ridiculous, that your husband has said about your pregnancy? I can’t think of anything. He has been really cute about the whole thing. I can tell he is really excited.

Where did you conceive? Do you want to share some funny details? To protect the sanity of our in-laws I will not share these details! :o)

What is your most expensive purchase so far? I haven’t bought anything, I’m waiting to find out if it’s a boy or girl. But the most expensive purchase will be a Bugaboo Stroller.
