Ok, for the last 2 weeks every night my dreams have been vivid and crazy. From me breaking in banks, playing paint-ball with my friends to changing oil at my dad's house. Needless to say I wake up more tired than I was when I laid down. DW has mentioned that she dreams a lot, too. I know this sounds crazy, but does her pregnancy have something to do with my overactive sleep? Is she subconsciously transmitting dream hormones to me? Conspiracy!

No, her dream hormones are not being transferred to you. What is happening is that you are stressed as the baby draws nearer. You are also probably experiencing a bit of a sympathetic pregnancy, but all dads do in some way or another.

Thanks a ton Veronica. I didn't think that I was stressed, but you might be onto something. I need a pregnancy vacation.

Yep, you're working out your anxiety about the coming birth. What's great about birth is it's so intense that the hours go by like minutes (at least for the dad as he worries about how to help his DW!)

I can say I had similar dreams, and very vivid ones at that -- especially AFTER the birth.

I have crazy dreams....Mostly about the baby being sick when its born, or eating cheesecake....I get that one a lot, and right now, cheesecake is repulsive!!!
