Listened tonight with my wife and paid a visit to the guest's site. In addition to the valid question asked in another post about the data to back up the claims I have some questions about things they referenced that I couldn't find on their site. She mentioned something about packages that weren't easy to find. Did I misunderstand? She talked about the total cost of ownership which didn't seem that well laid on either of their sites. We've got twins on the way and we're interested, but not getting much help from their websites.

Sorry about that Garrett. It is a little hard with my business because there are 2 very different sides of it. We use the www.happyheinys.com website as an informative website. Plus it describes each of the products and offers links to all of our retailers. You can search the retailers for one who is closest to you or you can purchase the items at: www.happyheinystore.com if you go here be sure to use the coupon pregtastic for 10% off.
You can also purchase at www.amazon.com
Or if you are located in San Diego you can come visit us. Just call me at 619-258-6867 I am here during school hours and after hours by appointment. You are more then welcome to come and touch and learn about the products first hand.
As far as links to back up what I have said, a great link is right here: http://www.realdiaperassociation.org/diaperfacts.php
The use of chemicals in the disposable diapers is not a hidden fact. This is very widely known and not disputed by the disposable diaper companies. The only company that does dispute any of this is g-diapers although they do admit to the use of SAP (super absorbent polymer). This is the chemical removed from tampons in the early 1980's due to TSS.
On total cost of ownership, I think you are referring to the cost of cloth vs. disposables. If so you are looking at roughly $1000-$1500 for cloth diapers. This does include the added use of water and laundry detergent. For disposables you are looking at $2500-$3000. This is birth to 3 yrs of age. The average potty training age.
This is also the use for the first child. You may keep your cloth diapers for additional children. So the cost for these children would simply be in the washing expenses and replacement of diapers as needed vs. $2500-$3000.
I did just register for this site, so please feel free to ask any questions you may have. The decision to use cloth can be quite over-whelming with all of the available options.
So please post here or email me anytime at linda@happyheinys.com
