How is your energy level compared to “normal”? The first trimester I had to nap after work a lot and had “all day” sickness. I didn’t gain any weight & it was difficult to eat anything except carbs. The second trimester I felt the best with lots of energy and had an appetite again. It was wonderful! My third trimester I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes, so I learned how to eat that diet and test my blood four times per day. I sleep a lot again, and my friends say to enjoy it because after she arrives, I guess I won’t be sleeping much.

Where did you conceive? Do you want to share some funny details? I don’t know when I conceived. I’d planned to start trying to get pregnant again in September, but I got pregnant sometime in July. My brother had to change his wedding date once we found out I was pregnant. His fiance wasn’t too excited about that! And I joke that we may have to name our daughter Morgan because in July I went to a bachelorette party and drank (Capt. Morgan) while I must have been a week or two pregnant. The doctors say it should be fine because it was so early in the pregnancy. But I’d recommend that when people aren’t using birth control that they stop drinking. Of course I stopped drinking, eating sushi, and eating soft cheeses once I found out I was pregnant.
