Parenting Authors

Sandy and Marcie Jones, Sandy’s daughter, have co-authored a series of books over the past five years. Their shared titles include: Great Expectations: Your All-in-One Resource for Pregnancy & Childbirth and Great Expectations Pregnancy Journal & Planner.  Sandy has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Furman University where she received the Marshall Prevost Award for “Outstanding Performance in the Behavioral Sciences.” She earned her Master’s Degree in Psychology from Appalachian State University, and she has taken doctoral-level coursework on infant development from the University of Virginia and the University of Maryland. Marcie has a Bachelor’s Degree in Political, Legal and Economic Analysis from Mills College, Oakland, CA and a Master’s Degree in Publication Design from the University of Baltimore. Both Sandy and Marcie have advanced media training and have made multiple appearances together on television and radio talk shows.
